White Cliffs Walkway

At White Cliffs Brewing Co in Urenui you will find premium, handcrafted Mike’s Mild Ale. Completely natural with no added sugars, chemicals or preservatives, Mike’s Mild is a naturally carbonated, unfiltered beer made from grain, hops, brewers yeast and rainwater. Naturally brewed beers such as Mike’s Mild offer a distinctive fullness of flavour which is less bitter on the palate and in aroma than more highly hopped bitters. While brewer Mike Johnson makes no claims, many drinkers of natural ale report it to be hangover-free, due to its natural quality.

Brian and Helen O’Neill offer visitors something unique when they call at O’Neill’s Brewing Company in central Taranaki. It starts with the pure water which comes from an artesian well on their property where they produce three naturally brewed beers (Ngaere Draught, Black Peat and O’Neill’s Special Lager). To complement the quality beers and wines, the café/bar operates on Saturday afternoons. The bar is an ideal venue for private functions any night of the week with reservations essential. For groups, cheeseboards and brewery tours are popular. An outdoor area with mountain views is the latest development.
