The Festival of Lights in Pukekura Park

Steve and Kathleen Reed come from Bell Block, New Plymouth and were snapped on the 'Poets Bridge' in Pukekura Park.

'Absolutely beautiful park' was the comment about Pukekura Park made by Simon & Vanessa Dotrice from Wellington, with them are children Louis & Ben.

Rowing on the lake was David Sharpe, with grandson Cody and Dillon Bines, and with them are little , Myles and Joss Bines.

Meet Grandmother Judy Morris, and daughter Helen, with daughters Michelle & Tahl visiting from Rotorua.

Another guest singer at the Festival of the Lights, sorry no name was obtained.

Two girls were visiting New Plymouth and the Festival of the lights, meet Kathrin Dannecke and Simone Merker all the way from Germany.

Locals Margaret & John Young, with visitors from South Africa, Allan Brown & Mary Jeary, with them from Hamilton are Lucy, Hazel, Robert, & George Hendry. Great hair day (-:

All the way from London,  came Cathy and Allan Ferne,  with them is Cathy's mum Eileen Cooper and her brother Bruce Cooper.

The night was getting very dark, but I managed to snap Dani Young & Jade Higham boating on the lake ..Hi again girls.

Family entertainment was great with this band, who managed to offer a great variety of songs.

Its hard to imagine how fantastic the festival of lights really are, without being there yourself, and we hope that next year you join us to witness such a gorgeous display in Pukekura Park, the park for all people, with beautiful gardens, and a very unique feel, the park was built by our forefathers with such vision for the future.  More about Pukekura Park
