Urenui is a fabulous holiday camping ground , with a golf course, that is well used and loved, good little shop in camp, excellent amenities, and not far from the village.

While Urenui may be a very popular summer holiday spot, many would always remember affectionately the New Years Eve parties, and not forgetting the 'Urenui Rodeo' that takes place every 2nd summer and is a key event for the region.
