Heliview has chosen to operate the latest version of Frank
Robinson’s well respected 4 place Robinson R44 series, the
Raven2. The helicopter provides a smooth quiet ride while
providing excellent visibility, the Raven 2 with its
powerful fuel injected engine provides added safety
margins, particularly while operating at altitude, as we
do around Mt Taranaki. |

Richard Foale, the owner of
Heliview Taranaki, has over 20 years of helicopter flying
experience. Richard also provides his services, as chief
pilot, to the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust.
Occasionally a Heliview scenic flight may be interrupted
when Richard’s pager is activated, requiring a diversion
and landing at the hospital, so Richard can then pilot the
Rescue Helicopter. We have procedures in place to ensure
our customers will not be stranded, or inconvenienced. |
